By downloading, installing, or using HaiLife (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old to use HaiLife. If you are under 18 you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf.
HaiLife is a fitness tracking and training tool. It is NOT a medical device and does NOT provide medical advice. The AI coaching, training plans, and recovery scores are general guidance, not professional medical, nutritional, or training counsel.
Consult a qualified physician before starting any new exercise or nutrition program, especially if you have a pre-existing health condition. Stop activity and seek medical attention if you experience pain, dizziness, or other symptoms.
Cycling and weight-bearing exercise carry inherent risks. You assume all responsibility for your safety, including wearing proper safety equipment and obeying traffic laws while riding.
You agree NOT to: (a) reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the App; (b) use the App for any unlawful purpose; (c) attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data; (d) submit content that is harmful, harassing, or violates others' rights.
HaiLife integrates with Strava, Apple HealthKit, Apple Sign-In, Supabase, and the AI provider you select (Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, OpenAI or xAI Grok). Your use of these services is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party service availability or data handling.
The App, its design, source code, logos, and content are owned by HaiLife and protected by copyright. Your training data and ride content remain yours; you grant us a limited license to store, sync, and process it solely to deliver the App's features to you.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR ACCURATE. GPS, HEART RATE, POWER, AND CALORIE ESTIMATES ARE APPROXIMATIONS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HAILIFE AND ITS AFFILIATES ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, INJURY, OR LOST PROFITS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE PRIOR 12 MONTHS.
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling and deleting your account.
We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be communicated in-app at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.
